Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Update Course Start Date Dec 13th, 2018

The PALS Update (renewal)Course is for healthcare providers who have taken PALS before. This classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. Providers learn to respond to emergencies in infants and children. These include personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.

**Pre-Requisite** Students should hold a current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Provider Card issued from the American Heart Association. If you have recently expired please contact us prior to enrolling

*The current edition text book(s) are required for this course. The American Heart Association requires that each student has the text available you may purchase one to the right of this screen or bring your own. If you do not bring or purchase a book you will have to purchase one at the start of class* If your class is 10 days or less from the date of purchase we recommend selecting {Pick-up at class} for shipping.
